- ➤ Grampa Tony’s is a family-run Italian restaurant in Bay City that has served homemade lasagna, pizza, calzones and cannoli since 1962. Open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., the restaurant offers a renovated bar area and catering services — a continuation of its long-standing legacy. MLive
- ➤ A 2011 dig in the Cathedral District uncovered artifacts from the Great Fire of 1893 including a child's clay marble from the McMaster home that burned 250 buildings, and the Castle Museum now displays many relics (open Sundays 1 to 4:30 p.m. and Thursdays 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.). MLive
