- ➤ Monitor Township Firefighters will host their 54th Annual Pancake, Egg and Sausage Breakfast on Sunday, March 22 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Monitor Township Hall in Bay City; tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for children, and proceeds benefit DSRC programs for residents with disabilities. - ➤ Liquid Asset Partners is accepting bids for Rocky’s Great Outdoors’ liquidation sale in Burton until Wednesday, March 25, as the 40,500 sqft building at the southwest corner of Saginaw and Bristol roads is valued at $1.8 million and has served the community since 1971. ABC 12
- ➤ A Saginaw-area couple will appear on ABC's Shark Tank this month to pitch a plan to expand their before- and after-school program. The co-owners of R1SE Education and Recreation aim to grow the community service that began in 2019. MLive

- ➤ The Saginaw Township Fire Department honored Jim Berent on his retirement after 44 years of service (serving as Lieutenant, Captain, Safety Officer and Assistant Fire Chief) and said he will continue in public safety by joining the DST Team. ABC 12
- ➤ Saginaw County Commissioner Mark Piotrowski is leading a grassroots drive to raise funds for TSA agents working without pay at MBS International Airport. The effort—inviting local donations—is underway today. WNEM
