- ➤ Bay City police are searching for an armed and dangerous suspect, Shawn D. Meredith Jr.—33 and charged with felony murder, armed robbery, carrying a concealed weapon, felony firearm and firearm possession—after he fatally shot Kane E. Crockett near 18th and South Sherman streets, where Crockett died following emergency surgery. MLive

- ➤ A Shiawassee County man won a record-breaking $2.39 million playing the Michigan Lottery's Jackpot Slots Millionaire fast cash game after buying his winning ticket at Kings Corner Store on 701 N. Washington St. in Owosso, and he said playing 6-6-6 on Daily 3 tickets helped him win while he plans to pay his bills and invest the rest. ABC 12
- ➤ The Michigan Public Service Commission approved a Consumers Energy rate increase of $153.8 million that will raise electricity bills by about 2.8 percent effective April 4. Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel challenged the original request + arguing that the increase should not exceed roughly 1.8 percent. WSGW
