- ➤ Saginaw mother Victoria G. Yrlas is asking for help in solving her 21-year-old son's murder — he was shot and later died after being pulled from a crashed vehicle on Feb. 28 — as police work to gather evidence for the case. MLive
- ➤ A Saginaw parolee was charged with killing a 22-year-old man who testified against him after the victim had wounded him in a 2020 shootout. MLive

- ➤ The State of Michigan said absentee ballots are ready for May 6 elections so registered voters can vote by mail or in person using a valid driver’s license or state ID. Saginaw County voters will use these ballots to decide on school proposals for Birch Run Area Schools and Reese Public Schools — a chance to weigh in on local school funding. WNEM
- ➤ Residents in Saginaw will find bill payments unavailable from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 31 due to a new cloud-based software system update at City Hall; the treasury office will also be closed during that time, but drop-off payments can be made when the building opens at 8 a.m. MLive
