ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Saturday morning, the Saginaw Fire Department demolished the former Bambi's building at 1742 E. Genesee Avenue after it partially collapsed and posed an immediate hazard—fire chief Brandon Hausbeck said the demolition followed a local ordinance. WNEM
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Saginaw police fatally shot a 33-year-old man on Sunday, March 30 near the Delaware and State Street intersection when taser attempts failed and officers fired their handguns in self-defense—state police will investigate the incident. MLive
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Strong storms left tens of thousands without power in mid-Michigan today as Consumers Energy reported over 3,200 outages affecting more than 186,000 customers, including 21,000 in Genesee, 8,500 in Shiawassee and 2,700 in southern Saginaw counties. A tornado warning was issued for Gratiot and Shiawassee counties with wind gusts over 60 mph and no tornado was confirmed — officials are monitoring the situation. WNEM
