- ➤ A section of I-75 in Saginaw County was dedicated in memory of trooper Joel E. Popp after he was struck and killed by a vehicle in January 2024—his memorial highway signs were unveiled at the MSP Tri-City Post on Wednesday. The signs will be placed in the next few days. WSGW
- ➤ Today, MDOT is executing rolling slowdowns and full closures lasting 15 minutes on I-675 near Saginaw between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for overhead utility work delayed by rain storms and high winds—state police will control traffic while crews work and delays remain weather dependent. MLive
