- ➤ Business owners near Beecher Road say their stores remain open as crews begin building a new roundabout, ensuring shoppers can easily reach local shops. WNEM
- ➤ Hayes Specialties Corporation in Saginaw (a carnival importer) expects a six-figure tariff refund by filing claims through a new federal online portal. The business will complete 40 to 50 submissions that may lower prices for customers if approved in 60 to 90 days. WNEM

- ➤ A proposed House budget plan will slash state funding for Michigan’s two largest universities by 62% for the upcoming fiscal year — with cuts of nearly $200 million at MSU and $222 million at U-M.
