ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Fire crews responded to a blaze at the former Candelite Bowling and Banquet Center at 6817 Dixie Highway this past Saturday morning — closing the road between S. Portsmouth and Herzog Roads while mutual aid from nearby departments worked to control the fire, which destroyed the building without causing injuries. WSGW

- ➤ Police in Buena Vista Township responded to a shots fired call around 4:15 a.m. on Saturday on the 2900 block of Arlington Drive—finding 31-year-old Deon Haynes suffering multiple gunshot wounds who later died while the investigation remains open with no suspects in custody. WSGW
