  • Gray Media and DISH Network reached an agreement to immediately restore local stations (including WNEM TV5) to the DISH lineup. Local viewers will see updated news, weather and sports as Gray Media continues serving Mid-Michigan.  WNEM
  • Raising Cane’s will open seven new restaurants and reopen two locations in May nationwide; in Michigan, a Saginaw restaurant is planned (opening date not yet announced) as part of the chain’s growth after earlier openings in East Lansing and Canton.  MLive

  • 86 students from Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy celebrated a Gatsby-themed prom at Horizons Conference Center on Friday, May 1—Bianca Zaragoza became prom queen and Jayden Bryant was crowned prom king as students enjoyed dinner, dancing, and a photo station.  MLive
