- ➤ St. Hyacinth Church in Bay City will hold its last mass on May 27 before closing on May 28 due to financial troubles and declining membership. Diocese officials report the church is $1.1 million in debt and needs upgrades—at least $363,000 for a new roof—with plans for the property to be determined later. WSGW
