- ➤ Saginaw churches will host the Spring for Jesus Unity Event on Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. at the SVRC Marketplace—over 20 churches will offer live praise, worship, Christian rap, testimonies, baptisms and prayer tents to unite local families. Mid-Michigan NOW
- ➤ Demonstrators gathered in Saginaw on Wednesday to protest job cuts at Veterans Affairs and cuts to Medicaid and the Department of Education—leaders said these federal changes harm local communities. - ➤ On March 30th, Saginaw police fatally shot 33-year-old Corin Skinner after he charged with a knife during a domestic disturbance— a prosecutor later ruled the officers' actions justified. ABC 12
- ➤ After Michigan State Police began investigating claims that injured dogs were left untreated for months and a lawsuit was filed, Saginaw County Animal Control spent $3,500 on a Chicago-area PR firm—raising local concerns over funds meant for animal care. MLive
