Good morning, Saginaw.

Last week, officials from the Upper Peninsula drove six hours to meet a Saginaw doctor who missed appointments for 43 death certificates — area news also reported a small tornado in St. Charles, a not guilty verdict for a former football coach, homicide charges for a man and a teen, a school prom at Saginaw United, a mural praised by the Smithsonian, and an engineering firm opening a new office in Saginaw Township.

Saginaw police are asking the community to help identify a suspect who broke into a local business early Saturday morning — the suspect was caught on surveillance footage and authorities urge anyone with information to call the department.

On May 22, about 230 Saginaw United High School students began their celebration with a pre-prom at the school at 5:30 p.m.—they later moved to Horizons Conference Center for an A Frozen Fantasy themed prom where Pate Hollis was crowned prom king and Zharia Braddock was crowned prom queen around 9 p.m.
