- ➤ A Birch Run Township man, 73, was charged with assaulting two children at a public park — witnesses said he hit a 2-year-old with a stick and shoved a 3-year-old to the ground — police reported. MLive

- ➤ Saginaw’s Greek Festival 2025 is underway today at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church at 4970 Mackinaw Road in Saginaw Township, where visitors enjoy Greek food, live music, dance performances and family activities like church tours and bounce houses. The festival began Friday at noon and runs today until 11 p.m., with free admission until 4 p.m. and a final day on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. MLive
