- ➤ The Saginaw YMCA is launching a free summer meals program that gives the first 75 kids and teens at nine drive-up locations a meal from Monday to Friday until Aug. 15. The program helps local families access nutritious food during the summer—rotating sites provide coverage across the county. MLive
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Four people got hurt in two shootings in Saginaw — one man was shot in his arm at 1:30 p.m. on Monday on the 300 block of South 13th Street near Janes Avenue and three men were shot around 7:00 p.m. the next evening on the 3000 block of Congress Avenue near Brenner Street, and police are still looking for a suspect. - ➤ Three men were hospitalized after an unknown suspect shot them outside a residence in the 3000 block of Congress Avenue near Court Street on Tuesday evening—police said the suspect fled the scene before arriving and remains at large. ABC 12

- ➤ The U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service is investigating a listeria outbreak linked to FreshRealm chicken fettucine alfredo meals sold at Kroger and Walmart after at least 17 people got sick, 16 were hospitalized and 3 died—including one in Michigan—since last July; FreshRealm recalled three products and consumers are urged to discard or return these meals to prevent further exposure.
