  • A Saginaw City Councilwoman, Monique Lamar-Silvia, was convicted last Friday of forging signatures on an election petition for candidate Eric Eggleston—she remains on council while she and co-defendant Eggleston will be sentenced on August 20.  WSGW

  • Aquatic Invasive Species Week is observed through July 5 to stop the spread of harmful water plants and creatures. The Michigan DNR instructs boaters to remove organisms and drain water before moving their boats—ensuring they follow state laws.  WSGW
