- ➤ Saginaw is hosting the Sun and Sand Sculpting Competition for its fifth year this weekend—over 50 artists are creating 25 sand sculptures while locals enjoy live music and family activities at The Point. - ➤ Jennifer Laux, a dedicated Saginaw County 4-H volunteer leading local livestock and seed library programs, was awarded the Michigan Farm Bureau 4-H Excellence in Agriculture Award by Michigan State University. - ➤ Saginaw ISD began demolishing Brunkow Preschool after a December fire (the building was a total loss) and will finish demolition by late summer.
