- ➤ On July 22nd just after 10 p.m., Saginaw police responded to 2814 East Genesee Avenue where they found a 34-year-old man who was stabbed multiple times and taken to the hospital in critical condition — a 39-year-old woman was detained and then released while investigators continued questioning witnesses. - ➤ On Tuesday, July 22, an 18-year-old Saginaw teen pleaded no contest to manslaughter in the 2022 shooting death of Shardae T. Davenport — he avoided a trial on a murder charge and now faces additional charges including assault with intent to murder and felony firearm that could send him to prison. MLive

- ➤ MyMichigan Health has advised residents to stay cool after the National Weather Service warned of higher heat risk in Michigan this week.
