- ➤ Saginaw Township Police will host National Night Out today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Township Soccer Complex to boost police-community ties—featuring patrol cars, helicopters, interactive displays, and fun activities for kids. WNEM
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Saturday morning, Michigan State Police said a crash in Union Township killed one driver and seriously injured the other — officials are investigating the incident. WNEM
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A 1-year-old boy was shot and killed and a 25-year-old man was critically injured in a shooting on Monday evening near Robinwood Avenue and Erie Street on Saginaw’s south side—officers arrived just before 7 p.m. and transported the victims to Covenant HealthCare. ABC 12
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ In August, Michigan drivers saw gas prices drop 10 cents to an average of 3.13 dollars per gallon with a 15-gallon fill costing about 46 dollars—a figure lower than last July's high, and in Saginaw the price is the lowest at 3.04 dollars per gallon.
