- ➤ A Bay County judge said ex-Auburn DPW director Ashlie K. House violated the public trust by embezzling thousands—she pled no contest on Aug. 4 and must complete probation while repaying all stolen money to avoid a felony. MLive
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Midland native and CMU master's student Aaron Vlasek found that mussel species in parts of the Tittabawassee River watershed have changed compared with a 40-year-old inventory he updated this summer — some areas now show more species while others have lost some.
