- ➤ The Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra is hosting open auditions for violin, viola, cello, and bass positions for its 2025-26 season—auditions will be held on Friday, Sept. 26 at the Temple Theatre in downtown Saginaw. - ➤ Magician Justin Willman will perform his new tour at Temple Theatre in downtown Saginaw this fall, with tickets for his family-friendly show going on sale today at 10 a.m.—the performance on November 21 will feature new, interactive material. MLive

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Lanes on three Saginaw bridges will be closed Friday for water main inspections. The Center and Johnson Street bridges will operate with one lane per direction while the Court Street bridge is closed from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.—additional lane closures on Court Street between Trier and Bay Streets remain until 4:00 p.m. WSGW

- ➤ Shiawassee Health and Wellness will end key programs for adults with special needs by December 31—federal regulatory changes and Medicaid cuts are behind the decision, affecting 70 Medicaid recipients and 22 employees.
