- ➤ Councilwoman Monique Lamar-Silvia, found guilty of three election fraud-related felonies in June, faces a vote to lose her council seat today at 6:30 p.m. at Andersen Enrichment Center—further consequences that may result in loss of freedom are set for Wednesday. MLive

- ➤ MDOT said more than 60 road construction projects will cause closures on key corridors from Aug. 24th to Aug. 30th to repair roads and bridges before fall — drivers in Saginaw should plan for delays. MLive
