- ➤ Health experts in Mid-Michigan have raised alarms over a new synthetic drug, 7-OH, which is sold legally as a kratom byproduct and acts like opiates—posing overdose risks as it reaches younger users. Dr. Jim Hudgens of New Paths Behavioral Health in Flint is working with Attorney General Dana Nessel to push for tighter regulations on its sale. ABC 12
