- ➤ Lexxie Morris, 34, is fighting homelessness while caring for her disabled daughter and working with United Way to get a home in Bay City as cold weather nears. - ➤ Governor Whitmer urged schools to keep free breakfasts and lunches, and many districts—including Saginaw Public Schools and Grand Blanc Community Schools—have not begun charging students even as lawmakers finalize the state budget.
