This week in Saginaw, local news covered several major stories—an iconic Beans bunny sign remains in limbo after its removal for a new high school and a Saginaw man was arrested on charges of attempted murder at a party—and there were developments including a teen’s accidental drowning at a Carrollton pool party, a $15K wrongful arrest settlement, and a trial involving a jail guard accused of smuggling drugs into the county facility. In addition, community losses were noted with the deaths of a beloved funeral singer and a high school principal, while a cherished Frankenmuth horse died suddenly during a carriage ride.

A Bee Gees tribute band will perform at downtown Saginaw's The Dow Event Center on Friday, Oct.

24 at 7:30 p.m.—the show features hits like Night Fever and How Deep Is Your Love along with big screen videos and dazzling visuals. Tickets range from $39 to $113 and remain available online.
