- ➤ Saginaw’s arson watch program has turned Devil’s Night into a safety effort by having volunteers patrol neighborhoods and help reduce fire risks. The program started after a severe 2006 fire season and now keeps fires low—only one arson incident was recorded in 2023. Mid-Michigan NOW

- ➤ Dairy Queen is set to open a new Grill and Chill on 3300 Tittabawassee Road in Kochville Township, with construction expected to begin no later than next month after the planning commission approved the 1,946-square-foot site (including a drive-thru). - ➤ Clio High School hosted a college and career fair Wednesday morning where students visited booths and talked with representatives from local businesses & community colleges.
