- ➤ Voters in Birch Run will decide on a bond to fund up to $17.8 million in school upgrades on November 4th. The bond fixes classrooms, safety, and basic infrastructure issues — replacing last May’s tax-raising plan — with projects planned to start in summer 2027. Mid-Michigan NOW
- ➤ Hemmeter Elementary in Saginaw Township was ranked number 14 among Michigan elementary schools by U.S. News and World Report based on state test scores, student-teacher ratios, and student backgrounds—serving 318 students with a gifted and talented program.
