- ➤ Several holiday events will take place this weekend in mid-Michigan—Pit and Balcony Theatre shows 'A Wicked Christmas Carol' with performances today at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 3 p.m., and Temple Theatre screens 'White Christmas' today at 7:30 p.m. Other events include the musical 'Six' at Midland Center for the Arts, 'Season of Light' at Delta College Planetarium on Saturday at 3:30 p.m., and concerts at Bay City State Theater and Longway Planetarium in Flint with tickets ranging from $4 to $25. - ➤ Greater Michigan Construction Academy will host a local craft competition on Monday, Dec. 1 at its Midland location at 7730 W. Wackely St.—where ten students will compete in electrical, carpentry, HVAC and pipefitting challenges—and top qualifiers will earn invitations to the ABC National Competition while the public watches for free.
