- ➤ Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet announced new federal funding of $2,018,790 on Dec. 1 to the Saginaw County Youth Protection Council—money that will expand housing, case management, and street outreach programs for homeless youth in mid-Michigan. The grant aims to prevent homelessness and improve services for at-risk youth throughout the community. WNEM
