- ➤ On Oct. 8, a small fire broke out at the Saginaw Recycling Facility and was quickly controlled by the fire department, which arrived at 8:04 a.m.—no injuries were reported and no damage occurred to the building. WNEM

REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ A new energy-efficient housing development on South Cabaret Trail in Saginaw Township was approved by the Planning Commission and will build three two-story multi-family buildings with nine units to help ease the rental shortage—each unit features two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and an 80-square-foot patio. Construction will start early next year and finish by the end of the year. MLive
